Here's what some of my friends and family are getting for Christmas this year! Aren't my boys handsome??!! Just finished these ornaments and was pretty proud of them... so had to share.
Whipping up some easy ornaments today... These are so fun to make, too. Get some of those plain clear ornaments from the craft store, and use glue dots or sticky strip (double-sided tape with red liner) to make designs on your ornaments. Then sprinkle with glitter.

The blue one on the near right has three rings of tape randomly placed. Don't worry, the tape is easy to lay down in a straight line. You'll need to cut apart where the lines "overlap". The green one and the far right blue one have lines coming down radially from the top. One line of tape can be placed from top to top, all the way around. Then add two more strips to each half, dividing evenly so that the ball is divided into six even sections.

The polka dots are the easiest of all, use any size glue dots you want. I used Stampin' Up!'s chunky red glitter on these, and Stampin' Up!'s fine cosmo glitter for the others.

~Thanks for looking!

These are the little favors I made for my contribution to our local Ronald McDonald House in Orange, CA. I just joined the group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that are volunteering there, and have had fun making projects for them. I donated 10 cards, envelopes and stamps for families to send out while staying at the House. I am also decorating 10 big bags, and have made 40 favors! They were a lot of fun, and I'll make similar ones for my boys' classmates. For more information about Ronald McDonald House Charities, visit their website: www.rmhc.com.

My Stamp-a-Stack Designs

Here are the designs I came up with for my Nov. 30 Stamp-a-Stack. Instead of going to the mall with, well everyone, why not come over here and make some beautiful cards to send to your loved ones! That's what I was thinking anyway...

The one with the red ribbon around the middle is a gift card holder. I can't decide which one is my favorite!

Happy Holidays!

Hello! Here is one of the projects that my guests will make at the Ornament & Gift Class I am holding this Sunday. These votive covers are so easy and fun to make for all seasons using Stampin' Up's vellum cardstock, ink, stamps, and accessories. I have a "stamp-a-stack" card class coming up on Nov. 30th, I'll get some of those designs up soon.

Here is a cute little pouch I made up. I wanted something to put some cards in, and I think this works great! It uses one 12"x12" sheet of double-sided paper...
First, fold in half diagonally...
Open again, then fold the sides in about 5.5" (each side). The corners should be on the fold line.
Create a "W" fold in the center, about 3/4" deep. (I know it's an "M" in the photo, but standing up, it's a "W".)
Bring corners together, and punch with your choice of punch. Here, I used Stampin' Up!'s Slot Punch. Put a loop of ribbon through the hole, and slip ends through the loop.
Here's the complete pouch, sans cards! Use the ribbon to tie a bow or make a hanger!

Well, okay. It has been awhile since I last posted... We had such a busy holiday season! I became a Stampin' Up! demonstrator at the end of the summer, right when I am usually planning and getting ready for Christmas! But stamping, and my new career, took over! I did manage to balance enjoying the holidays with my family and friends and beginning this new chapter in my life, I think. Well, I am still working on it. The fall was definitely a learning experience. And I learned a lot! When the kids get back in school, I plan to add some pictures of my latest creations, and make a gallery on splitcoaststampers.com. I hope everyone had a happy and health holiday season and a great beginning to the new year! --E
